As a company defined by its people, getting to know everyone who makes us who we are, speaks to our personal, boutique and unique approach to property sales.
Introducing Lana Richards, our candidate property practitioner operating within the Eastern Cape, as she shares her unique experiences as a Hamilton's Property Practitioner.
Describing the boutique experience
As members of a dedicated team, our focus is on upholding professional and ethical standards to provide top-notch service to both our sellers and buyers. We aim to create a comfortable and reassuring experience, ensuring our clients feel confident knowing they are in good hands. Our approach is always that of a "boutique experience," characterised by personalised and attentive service.
Describing Hamilton's growth throughout the years
Being a part of HPP and witnessing the birth of the Kenton branch three years ago was an incredible experience. Despite initial criticism from our competitors, I take immense pride in being associated with this exceptional brand and the remarkable growth it has achieved so far. I have observed that the clientele of this region perfectly aligns with the broader brand, resulting in an excellent synergy that benefits our clients immensely.
Our unique corporate culture
The culture at our agency is distinctively humble yet highly professional. Regan Harris, our leader, is renowned for his exceptional reputation and professional demeanour, and I take great pride in being a part of his team. I admire him and aspire to emulate the impeccable standards and practices established under his expert guidance.
What signature events, sales, or changes would you attribute Hamilton's success as a boutique agency to?
The leadership and support I consistently experience as a property practitioner from our CEO/Principal has been the most significant attribute of the success of our boutique agency.

One Friday morning in December, a couple visited our office at around 11 am after being referred by their close friends. They were interested in a valuation, which I was able to provide the same day. Since they were retired and looking to move to a retirement village, I treated them with the utmost respect and care they deserved. They were grateful to be referred to me by their friends and appreciated the warm reception they received.
Later that same day, a buyer I had previously dealt with in a back-to-back transaction about 18 months ago visited the office, asking about available properties beyond what was currently listed. I informed him about Rosemary and Peter's home, and he was eager to view it soonest. We could view the property within 30 minutes, and upon our return to the office, he signed an offer.
At around 2 pm that same day, I presented the offer to Rosemary and Peter in person, and they were amazed at how quickly everything had happened. They signed on the dotted line and could hardly believe it. A week later, the "close friends" who referred the couple entered my office. I managed their Airbnb property but had no idea that they were the ones who referred Rosemary and Peter to me. During a bowling event in Kenton, they shared the couple's glowing feedback, which made me realise the importance of conducting oneself with both professionalism and compassion.
